Depicting an area from the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay to Georgia, this map includes settlements such as Jamestown (est. 1609) and Newport News (est. 1621). Based on a Mercator-Hondius map of 1606, with improvements such as a better proportioned Outer Banks in North Carolina. Very good condition. Framed. Some coloring may be later.
