Surrounded by exquisitely detailed engraved illustrations and vignettes, as well as statistical and general information. 

Landes is a department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, Southwestern France, with a long coastline on the Atlantic Ocean to the west. The major communes are Mont-de-Marsan, Dax, Biscarrosse, Saint-Paul-lès-Dax, Tarnos, and Saint-Pierre-du-Mont.

Good to very good overall antique condition, with some toning and foxing (which is heavier at the edges,) and very minor tearing at the outer edges, and minor seam separation at the bottom. Measures approx. 12 x 17.25 inches.
