Antique map of part of France, by Pierre Petit Bourbon and published by Hondius, 1631. This map shows part of Northern France near La Cappelle, and includes Laon, Guise, Vervins, Marle, Hirson, Rozoy-sur-Serre, and Signy-l'Abbaye, among others, all with their antique names. The map shows forests, rivers, marsh, etc. This map has been archivally restored- cleaned, deacidified, and backed with light-weight tissue. It retains some signs of age including mild staining and texture to the paper but should look very good when framed. Verso is blank. Measures approx. 14.5 x 19.5 inches.
