Antique uncolored map of the area around the Delaware River from Sandy Hook, New Jersey, to New Castle, Delaware, and including Philadelphia. Showing forts and other significant locations during the Revolutionary War. From "The Family Magazine" published in either 1839 or 1843 (there is some ambiguity as to which date is correct). Shows encampments, dates, rivers, water bodies, landforms, ships, and roads. Very good antique condition with minor toning, text from reverse side visible. Map measures approximately 6.25 x 4.25 inches, while the full sheet measures approximately 10.5 x 6.5 inches.
