Brussels A Large and Beautiful City in the Dutchy of Brabant, Subject to the Queen of Hungary, and ye Seat of Her Chief Governor for These Parts.

 

Antique black and white map of Brussels, Belgium, with decorated cartouche. Published in Tindal's Continuation of Mr. Rapin's History of England, 1744. Map is very detailed and includes a decorated reference for explanation of the individual points of interest (e.g. Palace Royal, milk-market, Watch-tower, etc.) With folds, as issued. Very good overall antique condition with mild toning throughout and mild image overlay, as well as some roughing/tearing of the outer edges and seams of the paper, with a couple tears continuing into the map.
