Black and white antique map of the northeast United States, with part of New Brunswick. Includes the District of Maine before the Aroostook War that settled Maine's northern boundary- it stretches quite far north on this map. Includes some of the early cities of the US that were growing quickly, including Portland, Boston, Providence, New York, and Philadelphia. The depiction of mountains on this map is slightly quirky, with the Green Mountains extending the full map. Very good condition, with some image transfer aka ghosting. Measures approx. 8 x 10 inches.
