Maker: Butler.

Antique hand colored map of Ancient Egypt in Africa, written in Latin. Clearly shows the Nile River and its mouths. Reference for scale given in Egyptian Schoenes and Roman Miles. Map is in very good condition with some toning/foxing of the paper. Map by Dr. Samuel Butler, published in An Atlas of Ancient Geography, 1838. Measures approximately 9.25" x 7.25" to the neatline.
