Maker: Butler.

Antique hand colored map of Ancient southern Italy, written in Latin. Includes Sicily. Features inset map of the islands of Corsica and Sardinia. Reference for scale given in Roman Miles. Map is in fairly good condition with some toning/foxing of the paper. Map by Dr. Samuel Butler, published in An Atlas of Ancient Geography, 1838. Measures approximately 7" x 9" to the neatline. (Note: Map extends past the neatline at both sides.
