Maker: Butler.

 

Antique hand-colored map of southern Ancient Greece and Peloponnese, during the Homeric period, written in Latin. Reference for scale is given in Greek Stadia. Map is in very good condition with some mild toning and foxing. Map by Dr. Samuel Butler, published in An Atlas of Ancient Geography, 1841. Measures approximately 7" x 9.25" to the neatline.
