Antique hand colored engraved map of the world "known to the ancients," written in French, published in the "Atlas du Dictionnaire de Geographie Universelle Ancienne et Moderne," By Herisson, 1806. Visible plate mark. Very good overall antique condition with some mild toning and foxing, as well as some minor water stains at the outer edges. Map measures approximately 7" x 8.5" (H x W) to the neatline.
