Maker: De Aefferden.
Antique black and white map showing part of the Netherlands that includes the Zuyder Zee or Zuiderzee, which was above sea level at one point, then slowly went under, then was reclaimed in the 1900s and is now Flevoland. The map also shows the rivers Waal, Neder Rijn, and others. Decorative border on the cartouche and scale marker. Very good condition, archivally restored and backed with light-weight tissue. Approx. 5.75 x 7 inches to the neatline.
