Genuine Antique Print

1872

Maker: Picturesque America.

Antique black and white engraved illustration showing five city tableaus of Chicago, Illinois- the Entrance to the Chicago River, the river from Madison Street Bridge, Wabash Avenue, Michigan Avenue, and the Portico of the Board of Trade. Published in William Cullen Bryant's classic 1872 work, "Picturesque America." Very good overall antique condition with some mild toning throughout and some spots of minor foxing/staining. Image measures approximately 6.75" x 9.25" (H x W) overall. Note: any "rainbows" or strange patterns in the image are called moire pattern- caused by taking a digital photo or scan of the many parallel lines in the print- these are not in the print and we can try to take more photos if you are concerned.
