Maker: U.S. Light-House Service.
First Lighthouse District. Antique printed color chart of lighthouses along the coast of the North Atlantic, from Newburyport to New Brunswick, published in the Annual Report of the Light-House Board of the United States to the Secretary of the Treasury, circa 1877. We believe this to be the first edition, published around 1877, because it does not indicated what date it has been corrected to. Showing all light houses, light ships, and the arcs of illumination for major lights, as well as a key to the kind and color of light, such as Fixed Red, Flashing White, etc. Very good overall antique condition, with mild toning, some small tears at paper edges. Fold as issued. Measures approx. 8 x 10 inches.
