Double-sided antique map from the Atlas of Long Island, New York, by Beers, Comstock, & Cline, 1873. The centerfold is Part of Brookhaven, with Setauket, Stony Brook, New Village, Lake Grove, Port Jefferson, Selden, Mount Sinai, Coram, Millers Place, Rocky Point, Middle Island, Yaphank, Woodville Landing, Ridgefield, Wading River, Manorville. On the back sides are Bayshore, Brentwood, Bohemia, Greeneville, and Hauppauge (parts of Islip) on one side and Bellport, East Moriches, Manorville and Moriches (parts of Brookhaven) on the other side. Shows roads, railroads, parks, businesses, and includes property owners' names. Original hand-coloring. Good antique condition, minor toning, some small spots, and some separation along the fold at top and bottom. Mild wear at the paper edges. Centerfold measures approx. 13.5 x 21 inches and verso maps approx. 10 x 13.5 inches.
