Antique maps from the Atlas of Long Island, New York, by Beers, Comstock, & Cline, 1873. Centerfold map shows the southern part of Hempstead, NY with Far Rockaway (now part of Queens), Westville, Rockaway, Valley Stream, Rockville Centre, Baldwin, Freeport, Merrick, Bellmore (when it was still New Bridge), Ridgewood Station, Seaford, Hempstead Bay, inlets and islands, property owners. Centerfold map measures approx. 14 x 31 inches. Verso maps measure approx. 10 x 13.5 inches. Original hand-coloring. Very good overall antique condition with mild toning throughout, a few spots of minor foxing.
