Double-sided sheet with hand-colored antique maps; centerfold is Somerset County, Maine, with townships, post offices, rivers, hills, mountains, and lakes including Moosehead Lake, and an enormous area of unsettled land to the north, marked as quadrants. Verso maps are Oldtown, Falmouth Foreside and Adjacent Islands Casco Bay (this is just north of Portland and includes Cousin's Island, Great Chebeague Island, Luckses Sound, Great Diamond Island, Peaks Island, Cushing Island, and more). Very good condition, with toning and some tiny spots. Centerfold map measures approx. 24.5 x 15 inches.
