Maker: Tunison.

Antique double-sided sheet from Tunison's Peerless Universal Atlas of the World, c. 1888 by H.C. Tunison. The two-page centerfold is a map of Vermont and New Hampshire colored by county. There are two prints on the back: on one side is a map of Maine colored by county, on the other side are portraits of the US presidents from Washington to Taylor with a brief description of each. Vibrant original color. Fair to good antique condition with some minor stains, foxing, and smudges, and some small wrinkles. The strike on some pages in this atlas is a bit faint. Centerfold measures approx. 14 x 22 inches to the paper edges, while back side pages measure approx. 14 x 11 inches. Priced as a full sheet, but the back side maps can be purchased separately for $50 each- please contact us to order.
