Augustus Mitchell's "A New Universal Atlas, Containing Maps of the Various Empires, Kingdoms, States and Republics of the World, With a Special Map of Each of the United States, Plans of Cities, etc.", 1849. With a list of steamboat routes. The city of Atlanta was incorporated just a little over a year before this map was published. Very good overall antique condition with minor toning, mild stains, some small tears at paper edges. Measures approx. 16 x 13 inches to the neatline.
