Antique hand-colored map from Mitchell's 1885 New General Atlas. Shows railways, political boundaries, cities, water bodies, as well as land features. Includes towns with names. Colored by county with some early county lines. Includes inset maps of San Francisco and San Francisco Bay and Vicinity. This map is in good antique condition with minor overall toning. Some wear and toning at the paper edges. Some tears at the edges and separations along the fold at the edges have been archivally repaired. Paper is a bit fragile. It measures approximately 14 x 21 inches to the outer neatline.
