Antique map of the State of New York by Endicott, published in the Natural History of New York, 1843. This map is hand-colored with six different colors however the key that explains the different colors is not with the map. If you deeply wish to know, you might be able to find these books in a library- the Natural History of New York comprises 30 volumes, five of which are focused on agriculture. The gentle coloring is delightful even without knowing its meaning. Very good antique condition, with folds as issued but well flattened. Matted. Measures approx. 18 x 23.5 inches to the neatline and 24 x 29 with the mat.
