Antique hand-colored map from Walker's 1906 Atlas of Barnstable County. This is the index map for the town- areas in red rectangles are enlarged on the plate number indicated in red. The eastern portion of the town and Mayflower Heights are enlarged on this sheet. Labels all property owners at the time. Mayflower Heights was a new development and had few houses built at this time. The railroad is shown and it terminates at Railroad Wharf. Good antique condition with some stains at top, another stain at the lower right corner, and paper loss at the lower left corner where there would have been a leather tab. Small separation at fold and some minor wear at paper edges. Some small repaired tears. All of these can be hidden when matting and framing. Measures approximately 21 x 30 inches.
