Antique woodcut engraving print from Picturesque Europe, published in 1879 by E. Compton, Avalanche and rockslide in the Maderanertal Valley with mountains in background. The Maderanertal is an Alpine valley of the canton of Uri in Central Switzerland. Very good condition with minimal signs of age as pictured. Measures approximately 8" x 11" to just outside the printed image including text.
