Genuine Antique Map

1900 circa

Maker: Cram

Antique printed-color map of Pittsburgh and Allegheny, Pennsylvania. Allegheny City was a municipality that existed in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania from 1788 until it was annexed by Pittsburgh in 1907. It is undated and lacking any publishing information, but it was almost certainly published in George F. Cram's Standard American Railway System Atlas, which was published in several editions during the 1890s and early 1900s. Concentric circles indicate the distance from Pittsburgh's City Hall. Very good overall antique condition with some slight toning and a few minor tears at the outer edges. Approximately 12.5" x 18.25" to the neatline.
