Antique coast survey of the Atlantic coast of the US from Cape May in New Jersey to Cape Henry in Virginia, by the US Coast Survey, 1855. This chart includes parts of Delaware and Maryland, the entrances to Delaware Bay and Chesapeake Bay, Chincoteague Bay, and more. Includes water depths, lighthouses and lightships, and information about the tides. Very good antique condition with some mild toning, slight wrinkles/creases, some very mild foxing/tiny spots. Tiny separations at fold intersections. Hand-colored by our professional colorist. Measures approx. 27 x 32 inches to the neatline.
