Antique steel engraving print published in The Scenery of The United States by D. Appleton and Co, shows a view of the George Washington momument erected in the city of Baltimore, Maryland, in 1829. This was the first major monument to honor the nation's first president, and was designed by Robert Mills, the same man who designed the Washington Monumnet in D.C. Good condition, approximately 8" x 11" to the paper edges.
