Antique hand colored map of ancient Syria, (comprising modern day Syria and Lebanon) written in Latin. Includes Tripoli (written as Tripolis) and Beirut (written as Berytus prius Beroe.) Shows some topographical detail. Very good condition with some mild toning/foxing of the antique paper. Published in Findlay's Classical Atlas of Ancient Geography, 1840. Measures approximately 8.5" x 10.5" to the neatline.
