Antique map of part of Somerville, MA, from the Atlas of Middlesex County Vol 1, published by Geo. W. Stadley & Co., 1900. Includes the Davis Square area with the Tufts athletic fields, Podwer House Square, Teele Square, etc. Two inset maps of extensions of the map. Wards are delineated in green, buildings are colored by type. Some businesses and property owners are labeled, but most are numbered with a list of property owners printed by street on reverse side of the pages. Shows roads, railroads, bodies of water, public spaces, etc. Fair condition with large repaired seam separation, surface soil/stains, wrinkles, and overall toning that is darker at the paper edges. Note the damage at bottom corners. Some pencil marks with updates. Should look acceptable when framed- some signs of age will still be visible. Price is adjusted for condition. Measures approx. 21.5 x 31.5 inches to the paper edges.
