Genuine Antique Print

1872

Maker: Picturesque America.

Antique black and white engraved illustration showing various views of the city of St. Louis, Missouri- 5th street near the Barracks, "New" Court House, Lafayette Park, Olive Street, A Nook in McDowell's College, On the Fair Ground, etc. Published in William Cullen Bryant's classic 1872 work, "Picturesque America." Very good overall antique condition with mild toning throughout. Image measures approximately 9.5" x 6.5" (H x W) overall. Note: any "rainbows" or strange patterns in the image are called moire pattern- caused by taking a digital photo or scan of the many parallel lines in the print- these are not in the print and we can try to take more photos if you are concerned.
