1850
Maker: Van Houtte
Antique print of an Anthurium Scherzerianum Rothschildianum, from Flore des serres et des Jardins de l'Europe, c. 1850. This unusual Anthurium produces forest green, almond-shaped leaves, though it is perhaps better known for its stunning, variegated flowers. The flowers are an elegant white, speckled with ruby-red variegation and accentuated by a vibrant yellow spadix. Vivid original coloring. Matted. Very good antique condition. Measures approx. 14 x 11 to the outer edges of the mat.
