Antique black and white engraved illustration of a sparrowhawk, published in the Comte de Buffon's "Histoire Naturelle," c. 1770. Visible plate mark. Good to Very good overall antique condition with mild toning throughout, and some minor wrinkling/creasing of the paper. Measures approximately 7.5" x 6" (H x W) to the neatline.
