Antique Nautical Chart of part of Indonesia from 1884 by the British Admiralty. Shows the navigational information for Gaspar Strait between Banka and Billiton islands, now spelled Belitung and Bangka, and connecting the South China Sea to the Java Sea. Includes three recognition profiles. Soundings are in fathoms. All bearings are magnetic. Plate mark is visible. Has hand-drawn navigation lines in pencil by previous owner. Good antique condition with minor spotting and or smudges, darker area at top, a few repaired tears at edges, and small tear at right edge. Approx. 38 x 26 inches
