Maker: USCS.
Antique uncoloured nautical chart showing part of the southern Atlantic coast the United States, by US Coast Survey. Includes the area from Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, to Mosquito Inlet, Florida. The chart says that it was made in 1863 and updated to 1865, however, this chart is a restrike. Restrikes are later prints made using the original printing plates, which means that they are a more authentic â ‚¬Å“reproductionâ ‚¬ than any other type. This restrike was probably made in the early to mid- 20th century. Good condition with a brown stain on the right side. Approx. 23.75 x 26.5 inches to the neatline.
