Antique uncoloured nautical chart showing part of the southern coast of the United States, by US Coast & Geodetic Survey. Includes Ogunquit, Cape Neddick, and Kittery, Maine; Portsmouth, New Hampshire; Newburyport, Rockport, and Gloucester, Massachusetts. The chart says that it was made in 1867 and updated to 1884, however, this chart is a restrike. Restrikes are later prints made using the original printing plates, which means that they are a more authentic â ‚¬Å“reproductionâ ‚¬ than any other type. This restrike was probably made in the early to mid 20th century. Fair condition with some staining, and spots, as well as a small hole. Strong strike. Approx. 37.75 x 30 inches to the neatline. Priced as-is.
