Hand colored antique nautical chart, showing Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, by the US Coast Survey, 1857. With soundings, and information on tides, lighthouses, currents, etc. Antique charts that include the entirety of Cape Cod with Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard are relatively rare- most only show either Cape Cod Bay or Nantucket Sound. Later color. Backed with light-weight tissue for integrity. Very good overall antique condition, with folds as issued and some very slight toning along some of the folds. Measures approx. 29 x 31.5 inches to the neatline. **SOLD**
