Antique blue back nautical chart by James Imray & Son, London, 1873. Shows much of the coast of Myanmar (Burma) with the Irrawaddy River Delta. Very good condition, minor brown spots, linen bound edges and linen tie. Slight wave and creases in the antique paper. Good, clear, dark strike, original colored lighthouses, with 6 insets, including Approaches to the River Aracan, Approach to Bassein River, Bentinck Sound, Rangoon River, Amherst Road, and Kyouk Phyou (Kyaukpyu) and the Terribles. Also includes Gulf of Martaban, and Delta of the Irawady, Martaban, Tenasserim, and Aracan. With 2 back labels, one from maker and one from seller, 41 x 50 inches. (The slightly washed-out photos were taken in very bright light)
