Maker: USC&GS.
Antique nautical chart of the entrance to San Francisco, CA, by the US Coast and Geodetic Survey, 1884. This chart was created before the Golden Gate Bridge was started in 1933. It offers a good representation of San Francisco, includes Oakland, Berkeley, and the general Bay area. It has a purple stamp from the store that sold the chart- Dillon & Company. Very good restored condition-has been cleaned and rebacked. Some signs of age may still be visible but overall the chart is whole and looks excellent. Approx. 31.5 x 41.25 inches to the neatline. **NOTE- because this map requires extra insurance for shipping, an additional charge will appear on your card after your original purchase. If you would like to know what that charge will be, please contact us.**
