At top is Sketch E Showing the Progress of the Survey in Section No. V, which includes the coast from Georgetown SC to Amelia Island GA. A fascinating Civil War era Coast Survey map. Includes Charleston, Kiawah Island, Edisto Island, Folly Beach, St Helena Island, Hunting Island, and more. Recent color. Very good antique condition with folds as issued. Some minor signs of age such as small spots and toning along the folds. Measures approx. 20 x 35 inches to the neatline.
