Antique hand-colored map of early Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado and part of South Dakota. Copyright 1867 and published in 1868. Note that the area west of Dakota is labeled as "Attached to Dakotah", whereas in WES131 it is identified as Idaho. Interesting early counties as they existed during a time of great change and growth, as well as Native American Indian regions, and proposed railroads. Very good condition, some minor wear at paper edges, original color, decorative border, approx. 11.5 x 14 inches.
