Antique hand colored map of Utah and Nevada with decorative border, by Mitchell, 1868. Map is colored by county and includes topographical detail, as well as some notes regarding altitudes, the location of Indian settlements, and historic routes (e.g. Capt. Gunnison Route, etc.). Very good overall antique condition with some mild toning and areas of minor surface soiling. Measures approximately 11.5" x 14" to the outer edge of the decorative border.
