Antique hand colored map of Long Island, Manhattan, Westchester and Putnam Counties. Township delineated by color. Also has a time indicator, which shows the time at various places when the time is noon in Albany. This was before time was standardized and the time in any location was based on the sun light. The first proposal for standardized time and time zones was created in 1870 but time was not standardized until 1883. Very good overall antique condition with a few minor spots, matted, map measures approx. 12 x 20.5 inches. **SOLD**
