Antique printed color map of New York City made by Colton and issued by the Merchants' Association of New York in 1897. This map show the five boroughs of New York, newly consolidated. The Boroughs are: Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Richmond, all colored in pink to show the new extent of the city. This is a folding pocket map and includes the original cover, although it is no longer attached to the map. The verso map features a larger map of Manhattan with parts of the Bronx and Brooklyn. Good antique condition with some wear and seam separations along the fold lines. Approx. 17.5 x 15 inches to the neatlines. **SOLD**
