Colorful map print of the city of New York, NY, from 116th Street south, and inset of northern Manhattan, with decorative border, street names, ferry and train service, parts of neighboring Brooklyn, Long Island City, Wards and Blackwell's (now Roosevelt) Island, home to the city's penitentiary, lunatic asylum, work house, hospital, and alms house. Also Governor's and Ellis Islands. Good overall antique condition, with complete seam separation that has been repaired with archival tape, some minor smudges at the paper edges near the decorative border. Measures approx. 13.5 x 21 inches to the neatline.
