Antique map of lower Manhattan up to 53rd Street, part of Brooklyn and New Jersey, with well-known landmarks including Brooklyn Navy Yard, Washington and Madison Squares, Ellis and Governors Islands, Gramercy Park, Bellevue, and many others. Delineated by wards. Steel engraved map with original hand-coloring. Published by Bradford in 1838. Very good overall antique condition, with some minor spots and stains, some wear at the paper edges. Measures approx. 14.5 x 11.25 inches to the neatline.
