Antique printed color map published in The People's Illustrated & Descriptive Family Atlas of the World by People's Publishing Co. c. 1890. Shows roads, ferries, bridges, railroads, parks, the subway, and more. Brooklyn map has an inset map of the Annexed District of New Lots. Very good condition with toning at edges and some very light staining. Manhattan map is approx. 11 x 8.5 inches to the neatline and has an index in the right margin which is the key showing hotels, prominent buildings, churches, and theaters. Brooklyn map is approx. 12.5 x 9 inches to the neatline.
