Maker: Valentine's Manual
Antique black & white lithograph folding print published in D. T. Valentine's 1862 manual of New York City, shows a view of the monastary and chapel at Mount Saint Vincent in Central Park, Manhattan. After the convent of nuns relocated from the buildings, they were used for a number of function including the park's headquarters, an aid station for wounded soldiers, an art museum, and a tavern. Good condition, two folds in center, approximately 7" x 9" to the paper edges
