Antique color lithograph folding print published in D. T. Valentine's 1862 manual of New York City, shows a view of Croton Aqueduct on old High Bridge in Washington Height, Bronx. The aqueduct was one of the first of its kind to be constructed in the United States, and carried water 41 miles from the Croton River to Manhattan using the force of gravity. Good condition, two folds in center, approximately 7" x 9" to the paper edges
