Maker: Valentine's Manual

Antique color lithograph print published in D. T. Valentine's 1863 manual of New York City, shows a view of the old New York City Central Department of Metropolitan Police on Mulberry Street in Manhattan. The headquarters which was once referred to as "The American Scotland Yard" became mired with corruption, and Theodore Roosevelt was sent to oversee its operations until an eventual relocation in 1909. Good condition, approximately 4.5" x 7" to the paper edges
