Valentine's 1853 manual of New York City, shows a view of the United States Custom House and surrounding bulidings, constructed on the site of old City Hall and Fort Amsterdam. The building was used to collect federal duties on imported products and goods entering the country. Good condition, approximately 4.5" x 7" to the paper edges
