Maker: Valentine's Manual
Antique black & white lithograph print published in D. T. Valentine's 1859 manual of New York City, shows a view of Bridewell Municipal Prison which the British used to house prisoners of war during the American Revolution. It was demolished in 1838 and the site is now home to The Manhattan Detention Complex, nicknamed "The Tombs." Good condition, two folds in center, approximately 7" x 9" to the paper edges
