Maker: Valentine's Manual
Antique color lithograph print published in D. T. Valentine's 1868 manual of New York City, shows a view of Newspaper offices in Printing House Square with figures in foreground, businesses depicted from left to right include "the Sun," "Steam Job Printing House," "The Irish Republican," "The Daybook," "The Tribune," "The Times," and "The World." In the late nineteenth century the area became known as "Newspaper Row" and the buildings were converted to skyscrapers. Good condition, approximately 5.5 x 8.5" to the paper edges.
